Bold bird's-eye plan of Frankfurt am Main beautifully illustrated to show the cathedral, churches and major buildings. Along the lower border are three vignette scenes: the Emperor entering the city, with the Imperial eagle hovering symbolically overhead, a panoramic view of the city from across the Main, and an allegorical scene with Mercury, the god of trade and commerce, pouring money into a cornucopia, symbolizing the city's wealth.
