Handsome, detailed map covering the southern part of the continent based on the cartography of Delisle and the information gleaned from the voyages of Brouwer, Narbouroug and Beauchesne. Filled with information of settlements, missions, forests, rivers, volcanoes and mountains. In the lower right corner is an inset plan of the city of Santiago and in the lower left corner is a decorative title cartouche incorporating an erupting volcano.
