Charming miniature map of the world on an oval projection, engraved by Girolamo Porro after a larger world map by Camoccio on the Gastaldi prototype. The huge mythical Terra Incognita dominates the Southern Hemisphere. On a full sheet (5.6 x 9.5") of Italian text with decorative capital letter below map and page 193 above. Italian text continues on the verso.

Fine impression with full margins and later color. A hint of soiling in right page margin.
