This copper engraved map of Southeast Asia extends to show all of India and eastward to New Guinea, also the northern part of Australia and north as far as Okinawa. It locates the Kingdom of Siam, Cambodia, Tonkin, and more in Indo-China. All of the East Indies are shown, and Taiwan is here Formosa. Nicely engraved, details include watershed, major regions and cities. A note off the coast of Luzon describes the location of Santo Admiral Anson's taking of the ship "Value". A simple compass rose lies near the Andaman Islands. Likely engraved by Kitchin.
