This map is centered on Paris with minute detail of the vicinity. It is richly embellished with the royal arms, vignette of a surveyor with two putti, strapwork distance scale cartouche and a great title cartouche flanked by a gentleman and gentlewoman and topped by a pair of angels supporting the coat of arms. French text on verso.

The map is damp stained with some paper damage and a tear into the map at the left side. There is a small piece of paper missing out of the top margins. It is a nice map that would require the services of a professional paper conservator.
