Lovely map that illustrates the region of Central America from the Yucatan to the Gulf of Panama. It is nicely detailed, although much of the topography is still incorrect. Lago de Nicaragua is oriented in an east-west direction. This is the second state with Pierre Mariette imprint and the 20 year privilege. The title is set within an unusual, octagon cartouche.
