The quality of engraving on this chart is stunning. It locates the various islands in the chain including Bonavista, Salt, St. Nicholas, St. Antonio, St. Vincent, St. Jago, Fogo and Brava. Many coastal features are named and topography is shown via hachure. Simple title cartouche. Engraved by B.T. Welch & Co.

This is a beautiful near fine example less two small, light spots in a blank area of the chart. Fine color, bright impression on thick paper with wide margins.
