This is a beautifully engraved early bird's-eye view of St. Augustine. It gives an excellent view of the fort and the tiny settlement with a large three-masted warship under full sail in the foreground, plus a smaller coastal sailing ship. The ribbon-style title cartouche floats above the scene. The page number 297 is at upper right and French text is on the verso.
