This fine copper engraved map of the region surrounding the Dead Sea through the Nile Delta depicts the wanderings of the Children of Israel. Two interesting charts at the right show the tents of the tribes centered around the Ark of the Covenant. Panels at top and bottom include vignettes of important events of the Exodus. Dutch text on verso.

A good impression on a sheet that has been professionally backed, replacing some minor marginal loss. A small portion of the upper neatline has been reinstated in facsimile.
