This delicately engraved miniature map of the Eastern Balkans, centered on Bulgaria, includes the Bosphorus and Constantinople. The map was engraved by the brothers Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius who had been assistants to Frans Hogenburg and co-engravers of Ortelius' folio Theatrum and was published by Jan B. Vrients.
References: King (2nd ed.) p. 86-87.
A nice impression on a sheet with some minor marginal soil and chips, not affecting the map.
