A spectacular title page featuring the exotic peoples and places of the East and West Indies. The scene is crowded by natives of both Asia and the Americas, with exotic animals including lions, elephants, monkeys, hippos, and a large flying cat that seems to have just deposited a human body in a banana tree. Published by the widow of Jacob van Meurs.
