A large and decorative map of the Iberian peninsula covered with great detail, extending to Ibiza, Maiorca, and Minorca. The title cartouche is surrounded by a trumpeting angel, representing fame, as well as putti. The lower right has an elaborate device filled with the crests of the regions of Spain and Portugal, with slave figures below. The scale of miles is attended by a pair of surveyors and their tools.

A sheet with a professional, expert repair of the lower centerfold via the paper casting method, with a couple of lines of facsimile on the neatline. A small stain is above the lion's head lower right.
