A sea chart describing the coastal area of present-day Guyana, Suriname, and Cayenne with small portions of Venezuela and Brazil between the Orinoco and Amazon Rivers. Inset into the map are two charts of The River Oronoque from the Entrance thereof to St. Thomas's and The River of Surinam and Places Adjacent. Both inset maps have soundings, hazards and anchorages. The title is enclosed within a decorative foliage cartouche.
A nice example on a sound sheet. There are a couple of invisibly repaired tears at top and bottom that just enter the map.
