Other charts include Flags of the World, five thematic charts, types of the Races of Men, several pages of portraits, and a charming improvements of the century page with numerous engravings showing the plow, sewing machine, electric light, wheat thrashing machine, a locomotive, and more. Text and maps generally good to very good. The title page has a private library stamp in the lower margin. A couple maps have edge tears in lower margins, and all have light to moderate soiling, mostly in margins. Covers are well worn and starting to separate. Spine is soft and a little frayed at the ends.
