This lot features the important uniform plate which shows in full color the uniforms of both Union and Confederate officers and soldiers. The plate also includes details on epaulettes, badges, chevrons, buttons, collar & sleeve badges, chevrons, and caps as worn by artillery, mounted, infantry, engineers, and riflemen. The second sheet is a very colorful plate of the flags, field pennants and badges used by the Union forces. Some of the more decorative pieces include the Artillery Flag, Regimental; Hancock's 1st Corps.; Sheridan's Cavalry Corps; and Wilson's Cavalry Corps. Also includes four large Confederate flags showing its evolution from March 1861 to March 1865.
