This interesting chart covers the islands in the Indian Ocean with trade winds noted, plus 3 well-engraved insets with good detail of the islands of Reunion, Mauritius and Rodrigues. An erupting volcano is shown on the island of Bourbon, now known as Reunion. The decorative title cartouche is unique to the Bachiene edition.
