This charming Ptolemaic map of Turkey, after Gastaldi, uses a trapezoidal projection. The map is filled with ancient placenames and simple depictions of topography. Latin text on verso.

Condition: B+

A very good impression on a sheet with a faint stain in the bottom of the map. Pleasant later color.
