It includes the non-Ptolemaic constellations: La Colombe, La Cruzero and the 12 of Keyser & Houtman. The four corners are filled with descriptive text of the movement of the stars. The map was engraved by Herman van Loon, and the astronomical information was taken from the observations of Philippe de la Hire.
