An interesting plan of the area and fortifications of Bergen op Zoom to Steenburgen, with an inset of Fort Pinsen in the lower right. The map is based on the cartography of Francis van Shoten, a professor in Leiden. A compass rose orients north to the lower left corner, and the key to the map is decorated with shovels, picks, and other accoutrements of construction.
