This attractive map of the island is filled with interesting detail of the terrain, anchorages, forts, sugar mills, salt pits, and roads. It is inset with A Map of that part of Guadeloupe where the English made their Descent, Jan. 23, 1759, which refers to the English fleet occupying Martinique.

A nice impression on a sheet with one minor printer's smudge. Issued folding, now flattened, with trimmed margins still sufficient for framing.
