A trio of attractive, large island maps from one of Thomson's most successful atlases. Thomson's publishing business prospered between 1813 and 1869. His maps are noted for their accuracy, strong impression and fine engraving.

1) Jamaica is a handsome, large chart of the island with two insets, The Harbour of Bluefields and The Harbours of Kingston and Port Royal. This map was based on Jefferys' map of 1775. The map is filled with detail of roads and towns, including Trelawny Town and Accompong Town, both important in Jamaica's Maroon history.
2) Guadaloupe / Mariegalante &c. / Antigua is a sheet with three maps of these important islands in the Lesser Antilles. Each map is filled with excellent detail of the coasts and towns, with some indication of topography.
3) Chart of the Bahama Islands / The Bermudas or Summer Islands / Island of Cuba is a sheet with three maps. There is excellent detail of the coastal areas, roads and towns. The Bahamas map includes soundings and anchorages.
