Charming, double-hemisphere map of the world flanked by text describing the geography and continents of the world. The continents are shown without much interior detail, and Australia and New Zealand are still just a partial coastline. There are a profusion of seas named along the coasts, including Mer de Jedso, M. de Californie, M. du Perou, Mer du Canada, and many more.
Original outline color on thick sheet with original margins. A little marginal soiling or foxing. One small hole in the lower, unengraved portion of the map from rust mark.
