An interesting, unusual set of four engraved lettersheets portray important American cities. Each is printed on the top third of a folded four page sheet (overall measurement 9 x 11.8"). They may have been stationary or they may be proof impressions.

1) This charming view of Cleveland, Ohio shows a panorama of the city with the shoreline of Lake Erie to the left. Drawn by G. G. Lange Darmstadt, published by Charles Magnus in New York.
2) A pretty view of Rochester, New York from the bank of the Genesee River, on two folded sheets. Drawn by G. G. Lange Darmstadt, published by Charles Magnus in New York.
3) An attractive water view of Philadelphia, with a ferry and onlookers in the foreground, on two folded sheets. Drawn and engraved by Serz, published by E. Shaefer.
4) Another attractive water view of Philadelphia, with a steamboat and graceful homes. Drawn and engraved by Serz, published by E. Shaefer.
