Charming little map with a fair amount of detail along the Horn of Africa, reflecting Colonial trading interests. The Ptolemaic sources for the Nile are shown in the twin lakes of Zaire and Zaflan below the Equator. The map is decorated with a strapwork title and scale cartouche incorporated together. Latin text on verso.

Condition: B+

A couple of minor damp stains, one faintly visible in the map. There are a couple marginal wormtracks, not affecting the map.
