This copper engraved map of Southeast Asia extends to show all of India and eastward to New Guinea. It also shows the northern part of Australia and extends north as far as Okinawa. Locates the Kingdom of Siam, Cambodia, Tonkin, and more in Indo-China. All of the West Indies are shown, and Taiwan is here Formosa. Nicely engraved and with details to include watershed, major regions and cities. A note off the coast of Luzon describes the location of Santo Admiral Anson's taking of the Acapulco ship "Value". With a simple compass rose near the Andaman Islands.
