This large and highly detailed map of China is based on the works of Du Halde and D'Anville. The map extends from the Gobi Desert in the north to Hainan Island in the south and includes Taiwan. Decorative cartouches at the bottom feature dragons and a phoenix.
An attractive map with a narrow (1/8") margin at bottom. The right side of the map (approximately 2") has been unevenly reattached with a paper repair on the verso.
