This handsome map of Valencia covers the coastline from Cartagena to Benicarlo. North is oriented to the right. It is boldly decorated with a sailing ship, sea monster, title and distance scale cartouches in the moiré-patterned sea. Latin text on verso.

References:

Condition: B+

The map is crisp and bright with original color and one spot of foxing. The margins have minor mat burn and a few tears, not affecting the map and some brown paper tape on the lower margin verso.

Estimate: $275 - $400
