A charming bird's-eye view of Ghent, based on Braun & Hogenberg's earlier view of the city. The city is shown surrounded by a moat and a fortified wall, and to the left of the city a large number of windmills are depicted. The map is topped with a decorative cartouche and two coats of arms.
