This is a handsome map of Estonia and Latvia with charming, pictorial representations of forests and cities, naming Riga and extending well into the Gulf of Riga with the islands of Saaramaa and Hiiumaa off the coast of Estonia. The map is enclosed in a delightfully ornate cartouche. Published by Pierre Mariette at Rue St. Jacques a l'Esperance.

Condition: B+

An excellent impression on a sheet with original outline color. The centerfold has some faint damp stains and there is a short tear in the lower margin that does affect the map.
