Large, two-sheet, map of Scandinavia and the Baltic States has a brilliant armorial cartouche featuring dramatic allegorical figures of war and victory. The map is filled with excellent detail of the topography and the cities, towns and villages. Title along top: Teatre dela Guerre des Courones du Nord qui Comprend les Royaumes le Danemark, Suede, & Norwege… refers to the Northern War of 1699-1721 between Russia and Sweden. Size is for each individual sheet.

Each sheet is very strong with a dark impression and original coloring. There is a little minor foxing, else quite good.
