Scarce and striking chart of the North Atlantic Ocean, covering the coastal areas of the continents. The chart shows excellent coastal detail, particularly in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. The major sailing routes between Europe and the West Indies are noted. The chart is adorned with a bold compass rose and filled with rhumb lines.

Superb impression and original outline color. The bottom has been remargined with a clean cut through the bottom border, apparently done at the time of binding.
