This scare pocket map shows the counties in a rich, lovely outline color, and has an additional section at right titled "Stage, Canal, and Steam-Boat Register, &c." with distance tables and other information. There are two insets; "Profile of the Grand Erie Canal" with several paragraphs of descriptive text, and "Profile of the Champlain Canal." Map folds into the original brown leather covers (3.3 x 5.4") with gilt-stamped title.
Some toning and light stains, especially where the paper is adhered to the back board. Covers are scuffed and worn. Overall still sound.
