A striking engraving of Japan based Jesuit and Dutch cartographic sources. It depicts Korea as an island, and the coastline of Terre de Iesso Yedzo, ou Sesso (Hokkaido) appears in the upper right corner. This is from a scarce edition engraved by Antoine d'Winter.
