Deftly engraved small map of the Ancona region of Italy showing the rugged Apennine mountains at top. The coastal region shown extends from Abruzzo to Urbino. The sea is stipple engraved with calligraphic titling, and the map is graced with a floral scale of miles and a crest. The top left of the map contains a text box with history of the region. Latin text on verso.

A sturdy sheet with tasteful coloring. A couple spots on the margins, just touching the map border.
