This very large puzzle of Europe shows rail lines and submarine telegraph cables. The jigsaw is a construction of a chromolithographed map on paper mounted on wood, cut in a complicated pattern with only a few pieces cut on country borders. Two pieces are lacking and provided in facsimile (Bulgaria and Holland & Belgium). Another tiny piece is missing (Irish Sea).
