Period: 1608 (circa)
Color: Hand Color
6.8 x 5 inches
17.3 x 12.7 cm
Delicately engraved little map delineating the lakes, towns, and alpine topography. Geneva is located at the left of the map as Colonia Geneva, and ancient tribes are named in this former Roman province. Latin text on verso.
Attractive color on a sturdy sheet. There is some very old manuscript creating a box for the title above the map and a notation of 'Vallois' in the center of the map.
