The puzzle maps are copper engravings, hand colored and mounted on board, as issued. Each sized as given and includes the titles Mappemonde; Afrique; Asie; and Amerique du Sud. The North American and European puzzles are not present. Each is surrounded by a keyboard-style border. The maps are by R. Fremin, engraved by Ch. Dyonnet. An uncommon set of jig saw puzzles.

World map with a few pieces toned differently from balance, one ink spot in border of South America, one piece in Africa has a small portion broken off in blank ocean. All with original hand coloring. Overall good with a little fading and surface soiling.
