A nice plan of the fortifications at Arras during the Battle of Arras (1654), a skirmish which occurred during the Franco-Spanish War, where the French were victorious. It was engraved by Herman van Loon for Nicolas de Fer who held the title of Geographer at Louis XIV's court. De Fer was one of the most prolific publishers of plans of European cities in the late seventeenth century.
