Attractive copper engraving showing the Dutch fleet, under the command of Hendrick Corneliszoon Loncq, capturing the region in 1630 from the Portuguese. At top is a view of Povo and Olinda as seen from the sea. At bottom is a large bird's-eye view of the region, filled with ships. Published by Gregorio Letie.
