This is a partially broken atlas to be sold as a group of approximately 65 maps. Most of the remaining maps are focused on Europe, Africa and South America, although several North American maps remain. Some of the maps inlcude Italy (5 maps), Spain (5), Portugal, Scandanavia (4) Russia in Europe (9), Greece & Turkey (7), Palestine (2), Arabia, Persia (2), India (12), East Indies, Japan, North America (6), West Indies, and Principle Rivers. An interesting and quaint map of the South Pole showing just a hint of Antarctica also remains. This was originally two volumes bound into one, and still includes the Volume II Title page and the index. Folio. Original hardbound in quarter calf and brown cloth with gilt title on spine. A nice collection of maps sold not subject to return.

Remaining maps are with occasional soiling. Several maps with tears reaching into image. Covers with shelf wear and scuffing. Front cover seperated.
