Deftly engraved plan of the Temple of Solomon. The courtyards are filled with figures engaging in prayer, and a scene of a public stoning. The plan is topped with a decorative title cartouche as well as a sumptuous heraldic crest. Dr. Thomas Fuller (1608-1661) was an English scholar, writer and preacher. He published a large book based on biblical history called A Pisgah-Sight of Palestine that contained maps and views engraved by John Goddard, Robert Vaughan and Thomas Cross.
