Bold woodcut view of Jerusalem as it appeared in the 16th century when it was under Turkish rule. The well-detailed view shows the city from outside the walls with numerous buildings and temples named. Printed on a sheet of German text (16 x 11.5") with related text below and on verso.

Condition: A

Map has some repairs on the verso of the centerfold, and a couple of spots of foxing in text. The margins have been slightly trimmed, but are still ample.
