Beautifully decorated map of the region of western France based on a lost original map by Pierre Rogier. The cities of Sainetes, La Rochelle, Poictiers, Foutenay and Lymoges are prominent. The map is embellished with three very large strapwork cartouches. Latin text on verso, from the edition of 1579.
