A uncommon map of the Ambacht region centered on the town of Axel from Colom's only land atlas. Jacob Aertsz Colom started the Colom publishing company. He founded the Navigation School in Amsterdam, and published a number of fine sea charts, coasting pilots and this small atlas of Belgium and The Netherlands.
Crisp impression. One light stain in the lower portion of the map. The margins are generous, but slightly soiled and rounded at the corners, not affecting the map.
