It details the southern portion of North America, Central America, the West Indies and the northern tip of South America. The Azores are represented in an inset at the top right, and below the scales of miles is an additional title: "les Audiences de Guadalahara, de Mexico, et de Guatimala, forment Le Mexique ou Nouvelle Espagne."

The map has a little bit of light, scattered foxing with original outline color, and generous original margins.
