1) Spanish Dominions in North America Northern Part, Cadell & Davies, 1811 (dated), London, hand colored, 10.3" x 8.4". Drawn by Pinkerton, this is the smaller issue of this important map. Topography is shown via hachure. Filled with place names including towns, forts, and Indian regions. Title is in a medallion-style cartouche at upper left.
2) Map of Oregon & Upper California, anonymous, circa 1849, uncolored, 4.6" x 7.5". This small map is after the Fremont /Preuss map of nearly the same title (Wheat 559). The newly discovered Gold Region in California is depicted as a large region west of the Sierra Nevada range.
The first is near fine less closely trimmed lower margin. The second has some very light scattered foxing, mostly in upper and lower right corners.
