The plates in the atlas include the mining district as a whole as well as sections, diagrams and cross-views of the various shafts. An important atlas of the mining activity in the Comstock Lode.

Front cover separated. Spine missing most of its material. Maps generally good, some with separations in margins not affecting images. Damp staining in lower margins throughout.
