Beautiful map of the Burgundy area with mountains, forests and fortifications prominently engraved. Extends to include Geneva. The large decorative cartouche features several figures and cherubs engaged in wine-making. A very nice example with bright coloring.

References:

Condition: A

Fine, original outline color, cartouche uncolored as issued. Barely visible printer's crease in lower portion. Small area of stain at left and right margins not affecting image, else a near fine example.
