Handsome miniature map of Germany, Czechoslovakia, Austria and Poland, roughly focused on the Circle of Bavaria surrounding Prague. The map is full of beautifully engraved detail of the mountains, forests and major cities for such a tiny map. It is decorated with a strapwork title cartouche and a scale of miles. This map was engraved by the brothers Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius who had been assistants to Frans Hogenburg and co-engravers of Ortelius' folio Theatrum. This series of maps was accompanied by text by Michel Coignet and was published by Jan B. Vrients. Italian text on verso.
