This scarce folio sheet contains two views of the Portuguese sugar colonies in Brazil during the Dutch invasion in 1630. The upper view shows the Dutch fleet attacking the harbor and fort. Below is a plan of the town of Olinda and its vicinity with an inset view of the operations of a sugar works. Both views contain decorative cartouches displaying the key to important locations. Nice impression and lovely old color. Fold separation and a short tear in bottom blank margin.
